Light the dark 2025

Vi lever i en värld som bara blir mörkare och mörkare, men mörkret har inte övervunnit ljuset och kommer heller inte att göra det. Med Light The Dark vill vi göra det vi kan för att lysa upp mörkret.

Light The Dark är en ny metalfestival med kristen grund. Det innebär att du, under två dagar, kommer få möta några av den kristna hårdrockens största band, band som är associerade med genren, samt nya unga hungriga band som står redo att sprida ljus i mörkret.

Light The Dark är en fristående fortsättning på metalfestivalen Bobfest, som hölls 1999 till 2005 och som gjorde en tillfällig reunion i mars 2024. Besökte du Bobfest något år kommer därför delar av upplägget kännas bekant.

Vid sidan av festivalen på Arbis kommer Light The Dark även annordna en gudsjtänst med lovsång, predikan, nattvard och förbön i en av Norrköpings kyrkor. Där kommer också några intressanta föreläsningar att hållas. Huvudtalare vid dessa samlingar kommer hårdrockspastorn Bob Beeman från USA vara.

We live in a world that is only getting darker and darker, but the darkness has not overcome the light, nor will it. With Light The Dark, we want to do what we can to light up the darkness.

Light The Dark is a new metal festival with a christian foundation. This means that, for two days, you will get to meet some of biggest bands in the christian metal scene, bands associated with the genre, as well as new young hungry bands that are ready to spread light in the darkness.

Light The Dark is an independent continuation of the metal festival Bobfest, which was held from 1999 to 2005 and which made a temporary reunion in March 2024. If you visited Bobfest any year, parts of the arrangement will therefore feel familiar.

Alongside the festival at Arbis, Light The Dark will also arrange a service with worship, teaching, communion and intercession in one of Norrköping's churches. There will also be some interesting lectures. The main speaker at these gatherings will be the metal pastor Bob Beeman from America.
